I have proudly been part of the health and fitness industry for 17 years. Throughout this journey, I have honed my skills and gained profound insights into myself, my niche, and the broader health and fitness landscape. This experience has deepened my understanding of the dimensions of health and wellness, allowing me to appreciate the diverse needs of individuals seeking to improve their lives.
I launched my career as a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2008. This foundational step marked the beginning of a long and fulfilling journey. Since then, I have actively expanded my knowledge and expertise through various specialty certifications, extensive reading, diligent research, and my own personal experiences in fitness and health.
Over the years, I have acquired numerous certifications that align with my core values and professional philosophy. These include specialized training in pre and postnatal fitness, enabling me to support new mothers in regaining strength and confidence, as well as certifications in behavior change, essential for helping clients develop sustainable habits. Additionally, I have focused on strength and conditioning for athletes, ensuring I can effectively enhance their performance and help them achieve their peak potential.
In my work with a diverse array of clients, I consistently observe that mindset is a critical challenge! This aspect often determines the success or failure of any fitness journey. Achieving physical goals is not about a coach or trainer simply instructing clients with commands like, "just do this." There isn't a one-size-fits-all solution for everyone when it comes to achieving goals and changing deeply ingrained habits. Each individual brings a unique set of strengths, personal values, and specific challenges that must be acknowledged and addressed in a tailored manner.

After careful reflection on my experiences, I have decided to redirect my career path!! This decision is a necessary step toward fulfilling a growing need within the industry. There is a significant and increasing demand for mindset and health coaching, as more individuals seek to facilitate successful behavior change in their lives.
By focusing on mindset and behavior change, I aim to empower clients to unlock their potential, overcome mental barriers, and cultivate a healthier relationship with fitness and wellness. My goal is to provide comprehensive support that goes beyond physical training, addressing the mental and emotional aspects of health that are vital for lasting change.
Join me on my exciting new journey as a Certified Health Coach, where I will be focusing on three crucial pillars: mindset, behavior change, and movement.
Throughout this transformative experience, I will delve deep into how our thoughts and beliefs shape our health and wellness. By fostering a positive mindset, I aim to empower individuals to overcome mental barriers and cultivate resilience, which is essential for long-term success in any health-related endeavor.
In addition to mindset, I will also emphasize the importance of behavior change. This involves not only understanding the habits that contribute to our current state of health but also implementing effective strategies to modify these behaviors. I will share practical tools and techniques that can facilitate this change, helping individuals to establish healthier routines and make informed choices that align with their wellness goals.
Movement is another vital aspect of this journey. I will explore various forms of physical activity, highlighting the benefits of incorporating movement into daily life, regardless of fitness level. From simple exercises to more structured workout plans, my aim is to inspire and motivate others to find joy in movement and recognize its profound impact on both physical and mental health.
As I embark on this path, I invite you to be a part of this journey with me. Together, we can explore the interconnectedness of mindset, behavior, and movement, creating a holistic approach to health and wellness that is sustainable and fulfilling.
